Keeping you posted on our big adventure into parenthood

About Us

Kelly and I got married on May 10th, 2008. About 9 months after we said I do we found out Kelly was pregnant. And later that week I got laid off from my old job. Good timing right? In the midst of all the stress I found that writing was helping me cope and I started the blog as a birthday gift for Kelly (cheap, I know). The blog has blossomed from there and has now migrated over to WordPress.

I guess one day Mason will look back and say “my parents are lame now but at one point they seemed to be kinda cool.” I guess that’s the best we can hope for. Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I do writing it.

    hey Nephew, hey Kelly,

tried emailing the other day to congratulate You folks on the blessed birth of your son Carl; oh I’m sorry, I meant Benjamin. anyway, the email seemed to not go through (did you get my birthday greeting Derrell)? so, I’m taking this opportunity to once again send my love and best wishes for nothing but the happiest, healthiest and most interesting lives for you and your family. if this doesn’t go through I’ll use that old tried and true method of actually calling you. by the way did you really carve that pumpkin, and if so, did you use a stencil?

    much love,

    Carl
